I am a Professor of Paediatric Endocrinology based at the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health in London and the Molecular Basis of Rare Diseases Section within UCL's Genetics and Genomic Medicine Research and Teaching Department. I led the Endocrinology Department at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children between 2006 and 2023 and practice as a consultant paediatric and adolescent endocrinologist at GOSH and UCLH. In 2012, I was listed as one of Britain's Top 100 Paediatric Specialists by The Times and I am currently President of the European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology.
